Chris joined Haptic Architects in 2012, following graduation. He was promoted to Senior Associate in 2022. His design approach is intrinsically collaborative, treating each project as a creative relationship borne by teamwork and clear communication. Chris is keenly interested in designing egalitarian and environmentally sustainable places that are rooted in their context.
Chris holds significant experience in mixed-use residential-led schemes, including projects at Television Centre, Dersingham Road and the W3 Community Centre. He also has expertise in complex infrastructure projects, recently serving as assistant-lead for the Landside and Interiors packages for Delhi Noida International Airport, from competition stage through to tender. Chris currently leads a major industrial co-location project in west London.
Chris coordinates and writes much of the practice’s acquisition work, including several of the practice’s recent appointments to the BeFirst Framework, Southwark ADS Framework and Noida International Airport. He also plays an active role in managing the practice’s Quality Assurance system.
