Damla is an award-winning architectural designer, landscape architect and urban designer with over 11 years’ experience. She joined Haptic in 2020.

Her specialist expertise is in transportation projects, including airport terminals, train stations and tunnels. Damla is currently leading the North Area of the HS2 terminus at Euston, where Haptic are partnered with Grimshaw.

Damla obtained a double major Bachelor’s degree from Istanbul Technical University. She graduated with the highest-grade rank for architecture and landscape architecture majors, receiving the best graduation project award. She completed her Masters studies in Urban Vision and Architectural Design program at Domus Academy, Milan, where she graduated with Distinction.

She is passionate about design competitions and has been awarded prizes in numerous international competitions. Damla is also the co-founder of SKAB, a landscape architecture practice that specializes in BIM, where she plays a key role in steering new business strategies.
