Hamel joined Haptic as a BIM consultant after a collaboration on infrastructure project in late 2020. Hamel was an Architectural Technologist in his former life, but later diverted his interests into the world of BIM and AEC Digital Technologies. His passion and enthusiasm in this area supports the development and implementation of both BIM excellence and emerging digital technologies within the London studio and its external collaborations on large-scale projects.

Hamel focuses on the integration of BIM to comply to international project delivery standards.  He works to drive value and efficiency, utilising the latest BIM workflows and tools.  He helps the practice innovate and excite, with the latest BIM tech in all major deliveries to its clients.

He recently completed the BIM delivery of Noida International Airport on behalf of Haptic and is currently working on two residential schemes. He continues to lead and develop Haptics BIM Quality standards.

Hamel studied Architectural Technology at Nottingham Trent University. Before joining Haptic, he freelanced as a BIM + Revit specialist in the industry with practices such as Grimshaw, on HS2 Terminal at Euston and Perkins and Will on a large-scale hospitality fit out. He established his own BIM consulting business in 2019.
