He is a skilled construction architect, with a keen interest in bringing projects to life with his contributions, especially throughout the latter phases of a project. He mostly works on large scale public and commercial projects and is deeply involved in the detail-planning and interdisciplinary coordination, with a focus on challenging constructions and highly technical work.
As an architect he strives for subtle, unpretentious, and meticulously executed buildings.
Currently Hans-Christoph plays an important role on the New Government Headquarters project: an ambitious and hugely complex development for the Norwegian government in central Oslo. Here he has gathered extensive experience in planning and executing projects with ambitious timelines and complex architectural, heritage, security and environmental requirements. He has worked in several roles ranging from discipline lead for facades, discipline lead architect on two buildings as well as interdisciplinary planning lead for the D-Block, the largest building in the headquarters.
Hans-Christoph joined Haptic in 2018 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2024. He has worked in Germany and Norway where he worked on competitions for public buildings like city halls, schools and museums, and on detail-planning of large-scale hospital projects. Hans-Christoph is deeply interested and adept in exploring the field of new technology in architecture, and is a strong believer of its potential in designing better, beautiful, and truly sustainable architecture. He contributes to the Haptic IT / BIM management in Oslo.
