Ole Jacob Raste is an architect at Haptic’s Oslo studio. He is currently working on the Oslo Government Headquarters, specifically the refurbishment of the original main building (commonly known as “Høyblokken”) by Erling Viksjø. This is a sensitive restoration project that compliments Haptic’s focus on reuse and reinvention.

Prior to joining Haptic, Ole Jacob worked on various projects that focused on the transformation and rehabilitation of existing buildings. He has extensive experience working in large interdisciplinary teams, including experts in the field of cultural heritage. He is skilled at working across project scales, from small pavilions to large-scale public buildings.

Ole Jacob completed his MArch in 2017, graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (KADK) in Copenhagen.
