MArch, BA (Hons)
stan@hapticarchitects.comStan joined Haptic Architects in June 2026, after graduating from the Royal College of Art as a recipient of the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship for Portfolio Excellence. His work is concerned with the agency of the designer in the face of climate breakdown, exploring the relationships between territory, ecology, food systems and the built environment.
His thesis at the RCA explored the potential of material procurement as a catalyst for landscape regeneration and woodland management. The research was subsequently published by the Architectural Association and has led to a number of opportunities to contribute to live builds and residencies, including a Gold Medal-winning garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the Royal Designers for Industry Summer Session, and the Studio in the Woods programme at the AA’s Hooke Park.
During his time at Haptic, he has worked across a range of scales, contributing to complex masterplanning schemes as well as detailed residential planning applications.
He is currently preparing to undertake his Part 3 studies in 2027.
