Dimitris Argyros joined Haptic Architects in March 2014 as Senior Architect; he was promoted to Associate Director in 2021.

His experience working across many sectors and building types, means that he is particularly adept in unpicking large and challenging briefs, balancing high quality design with a strong sustainability agenda and complex technical requirements.

Dimitris has developed a particular strength in masterplanning and infrastructure projects. He was a pivotal member of the team for the award-winning Noida International Airport, India’s greenest airport. Other significant infrastructure projects include HS2 Euston station and Istanbul Grand Airport. His masterplan projects include Oslo Airport City and Chadwell Heath Masterplan, an ambitious project integrating industrial intensification with new homes and workspace.

Dimitris leads Haptic Green, the R&D arm of Haptic, aimed on environmental and social sustainability. He has over 10 years-experience in academia and currently teaches for Haptic on the innovative, multi-disciplinary MEng course at Bartlett, UCL.
