02.03.26 Transport for London Sustainable Fabric Strategy
We’re proud to share that Haptic Architects are working with Transport for London to deliver a strategic project supporting their net-zero carbon commitment by 2030.
TfL’s extensive building estate of approximately 2,500 buildings plays a vital role in London’s city-wide infrastructure, and improving the energy performance and resilience of this portfolio is a critical step towards reaching their net-zero goals. We are pleased to be working with Love Design Studio, supporting TfL by developing a toolkit and strategy that will enable a targeted, cost-effective and high-impact approach to the fabric improvement of all TfL assets, based on energy performance and operational relevance.
As we approach our 16th year in practice, this is the perfect project for us to reflect on how much Haptic has grown, underpinned by our simple belief in rigorous, thoughtful and progressive design that delivers tangible benefits for people and places. These values, in combination with our specialist sustainability working group, Haptic Green, will provide TfL with the insight and practical tools needed to deliver meaningful and effective progress in carbon reduction.
This is an ambitious programme and we are thrilled to be working with TfL to move the capital towards a low-carbon future!
