Bruelandsbyen is a residential development in Stavanger, Norway. Our approach to the project is to create a new lifted ground level, which allows the surroundings to naturally connect through the project. The new routes link the interconnecting courtyards, creating unique and atmospheric spaces and encourages social activities.
The project consists of approximately 300 units divided into 5 blocks, which are shaped according to the local climate conditions. This ensures optimised sun conditions and views while minimising negative wind effects. Each apartment unit enjoys its own balcony but also communal roof terraces.
