yuenwah@hapticarchitects.comYuen-Wah is a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at Haptic Architects, having started in July 2021. Yuen-Wah helped to deliver Provisions; a retail space in Hackney and is currently working on estate regeneration schemes in Southwark that utilises MMC to deliver onfill and infill sites in multiple locations.
Yuen-Wah has worked on a range of projects during her time at Haptic. This follows on from her final undergraduate project which looked at high density housing solutions in Beijing. Her belief is that everyone deserves to live with dignity and to have a safe space they can proudly call home, which informs her approach to maximising comfort within tight parameters. Balanced with interests in art, her personal projects are elegantly composed and have a sensitive approach towards light.
Yuen-Wah studied her Part 1 BA(Hons) Architecture at the University of Westminster and graduated with a First Class Honours. Her project, ‘Ark for an Ant Tribe’ featured in Dezeen’s 2021 School Show. Before that, she received a Distinction in her Foundation Diploma in Art and Design. Yuen-Wah has also worked with DaeWha Kang Design and Atelier Chang, with projects across Asia and Europe.
