Yasmin North

BSc (Hons)

Yasmin joined Haptic in 2021 as a Part I architectural assistant after graduating from university. Yasmin works in Haptic’s competitions and early-stage team and has contributed to several recent bids, most recently the RIBA headquarters redevelopment and the Tallinn architectural Biennale, as part of the Londonon group, which was awarded an honorable mention.

Yasmin’s passions lie in the narrative and conceptual drivers of design. She believes that architecture and space should be designed in a multidisciplinary manner which draws on history, stories and speculation. She feels that to be able to dream in space is integral to designing space that makes people happy.

Yasmin graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture in 2021 with first class honours. She was also awarded the Bartlett School of Architecture Medal, the Fitzroy-Robinson drawing prize, and the Bartlett Environmental design prize for her technical dissertation focused on mechanical design and crafting subliminal artificial atmospheres.
