One Billion Journeys

The exhibition immerses visitors in other people’s lives, as well as documenting a profound period of change in China’s history. The exhibition will be shown in five different locations over the next three years. The primary design strategy was to create a series of modules which could be arranged in the different locations, to give the impression of travelling on a train. The images are shown at different scales to allow the visitors to interact with the images in different ways.

The exhibition is currently at The National Railway Museum in York, and runs until 11th August. For more details see the museum’s website here.
